I first came across the work of Gregory Colbert in 2007 at a friend’s house in Ubud, Bali. The photographic images in a beautiful book printed in Italy feature the spiritual interaction of humans and animals are unlike any other photographs in the world today. They are breathtakingly beautiful and evoke a deep sense of compassion and inter-relationship between man and animal.

The film Ashes and Snow is a work of art that gently transports you through the waterways, temples and jungles of Burma, Africa, Sri Lanka, Borneo and Egypt – with a beautiful ambient soundtrack that is other worldly.
