The only reality is the divine. It is in every wave, every flower, every breath, every stone, every mountain, in every heart in everyone – all we have to do is recognise it. This beautiful golden wave of light by David Pu’u hangs in my house as a constant reminder of that presence.

Dick Hoole dropped by to see David in America a few years back and brought the photo back as a gift. I always loved this photograph from first seeing it many years ago. As a photographer, if you only took one photograph in your life of a wave like this then you’ve truly captured the divine in nature.
